What's happening to OCP Goggles?

Mikkelf

Hey every1,

I noticed that on the US Oakley site, there is only a very few options available for customizing goggles. E.g.the Splice goggle only has two frames available. And on the european sites the option to customize Splice and Crowbar goggles is completely removed.

Does anybody have any information about this shift from Oakley? Are we just seeing yet another lowering of the possibiities? Or a new thing gonna be introduced?

I just checked the Canadian site and there are 5 options (4+1 Asian variant). The A-Frame, Crowbar and Elevate still have lots of options, but the Splice is limited to Jet Black and Hot Pink frame choices.

The stores probably got cleaned out during the holidays and inventory is just low.

OCP goggles were just introduced into stores in November.

Oakley got very little stock from overseas... In Canada it was going to be now before stores would have received their stock so everyone cancelled their orders.

We've had a decent selection of frame colors for Airbrake and A-Frames in our store. There were less for the Splice (mostly leftovers from last year), and none whatsoever in terms of Crowbars. But the OCP program seems to be going strong. They're still shipping out parts and such to our store
