This morning I had a state patrol zig zagging down Highway 580 here in Cali. Slowing traffic down for an obstacle in the road. I was at the front of the pack when he let everyone go and he took the exit. Had the entire highway open in front of me for 2 miles. Got my speedy (Triumph 1050 speed triple) up to 135 mph, ****** flying, front end started to get light. Still had room to move but got a little freaky.
Felt like I was on a movie set with so much open road.

145-150MPH in my JDM swapped CRX

143MPH driving a ‘89 5.0 notchback Mustang.

160 in my 515whp STi. 164 in my Impala SS on a 150 shot. in Mexico both times

130-135, long time ago, in a Z28.

About 140 in my 87' Grand National

140 in my 95 T/A on a very sh#ty 2 lane highway

130 on my ninja, pretty scary with your helmet starts to shake and tucking in doesn’t help.

There is a long stretch on the I-5 in between Oceanside and San Clemente. If you time it just right it should just be you and the road. Of course that was way back when, back when I was young and dumb

At Brands Hatch(I worked at Bat Motorcles and it was a track day, so, when in Rome. ..... .), I took out a SUZUKI GK76A GSXR 400 RR SP , a HONDA VFR 400 NC24, NC30, NC 29 an YAMAHA FZR 400 RR and a ZXR 400 RR K1 .......so I don't actually know the speed(all speedos have tape over them), but I had the rev counter banging in the red heading up Hailwoods Hill in top, so I'm thinking around 144 mph

140 Mp/h in a 1985 Mercury Capri 5.0 5-speed stick shift on I 5 south to LA.
My first and fastest Car in the US.

I got arrested (not charged) for agg assault for a bar brawl in 1993. Got real tricky when one of the guys turned out to have a fake ID and was under 18! ohh **** thats felony child !! luckily all folks involved went home the next day. sheesh

I got arrested for speeding and running from undercover cops and drinking.
I was running from them because I thought the cops where some guys that got pissed because I passed in a no passing zone driving double the speed limit. The 5th lights was red and I had to stop. There they ID them selfs.
Turned out my blood alcohol was below the limit and they could not prove the speed I was driving. So I had to pay a BS fine and could go home.
Was fun do, but with a lot of luck involved.

All that happen in Germany.

Yes, I got pulled over for it. It was at night on a stretch of highway up in northern PA where there is guard rails on both sides of the road, so no cops could be sitting anywhere, right? Well, I was correct about that but didn’t expect to pass an unmarked cruiser in the process. He was super pissed, said he was going over 120 and still couldn’t catch me (which is what he wrote on the citation). Only reason he caught up to me is because I was taking an exit and he didn’t hit his lights until he was close enough to me after the exit. 145 in a 55.
