Which Gen plasma?

Just got this pair in a trade. I've been searching and trying to determine which generation of plasma it may be. At first I was told no serial so it's 4th gen. But I looked at the frame today and it has a faded serial number on the arm. Any ideas? My other plasma frame has a shine to it whereas this one is matte.

Is the serial supposed to fade? Or is that from a refinish?

may not be plasma at all. Looks like ti/gold
what is the serial number? also the fade happens to some pieces adn i cant recall which one of mine has the same issue.

Too "silvery" for 1st Gen IMHO. I'm calling TI/Gold.... Going on tiny rivit heads, Gold lenses & Rootbeer rubber kit. My money is on a "T" serial extremely faint on left earstem.

Looks like you might be right. I can barely make out a T in the serial followed by some numbers. Good call! Any fix for the faded serial or is it beyond saving?

faded serial is the signature for that pair. leave it as is!
