I use foaming hand soap and warm water. I try to stay away from hand sanitizer as the alcohol content is too high and could damage a lens of you get it on them. The alcohol tends to dry out the unobtanium rubber which could cause it to break down quicker.
My daily wear have no unobtainium (Gascan S). But if I do wear ones that have it. A quick wipe down with mild soap and water works great. The biggest thing I have seen is sweat and heat destroy rubber parts. I saw a pair of half jackets were the rubber was sticky and cracking from not being cleaned. And it smelled awful.....
