Wondering if any old eye jackets are viable for daily use

I know people have said all the old ones are fragile im wondering if any are reasonably usable and how much more expensive they are

Wear them, they are fragile but if you take care of them they should last a long time

Look for “new eye jackets” if you want to wear them. I wouldn’t recommend the originals as a pair to wear often if at all.

New Eye Jackets(Circa 1999) are what you want to be wearing. They have a much sturdier round hinge design, a thicker earstem also and pretty much most of the colourways you could want from the first iteration. The initial EJs, are so VERY fragile, have been know to just crack due to age, let alone wearing them. Old O Matter, doesn't have an unlimited life span and has been improved upon by later mixes.
But you are your own man, and the choice is yours, but if they do break for no apparent reason..........
