Hi Everybody,
I have an original M-Frame (crystal clear) from the early 1990s that’s in good shape -- it’s about 25 years old! -- but the right ear stem broke. On ebay, I bought a matching ear stem, but I don’t know how to successfully attach the stem to the frame: the plastic is so stiff I can’t get the ear stem and its holes over the small notch/hinges on the frame. I thought it would pop on as easily as the broken one popped off -- but it didn’t, and I don’t want to break the stem or the frame, either. (Photo attached.)
Do you have any advice on how to attach an ear stem? I wrote the seller of the ear stem, and they had no clue. Likewise, I wrote Oakley, too, and all they wrote back was about their warranty -- which is obviously moot. Thanks.
