I have to disagree here. I love my Plasma Juliet with Emerald Iridiums!

I'm pretty sure the natural color of the x metals is a shiney chrome color, when my buddy sanded down my X metal Romeos, this is what turned out:

Oh neat! So in essence all models minus the polished could get scratched and show the shiny surface underneath?

nah, the surface on X-metal frames are not so much a coating but more of a surface texture... so when scratched will 'polish' it along the scratch which is why it looks shiny when scratched. its like polishing any metal..
