X Metal Fake Or Genuine Lenses?

I have recently started collecting Juliets but i would like to find out more about how to tell if the lenses are real or fake?
any information you can give me would be great, thanks.

It's not very easy - you need to do a lot of study to know your base tints / iridium coating characteristics of the OEM colors. It takes time. And the lens thickness is often a good indicator, but not failsafe.

If you have an o-store nearby, spend some time there studying / checking them out firsthand. And check out a lot of the pics on this forum.

Unfortunately Oakley does not put special markings on their lenses for provenance.

Price point would be number one.

Secondly optical clarity ( Again knowing what OEM is helps)

Color is also a good indicator. Familiarize yourself with the genuine colors from a reputable source.

Bevel and thickness would be your next step.

If its an option doing a side by side comparison with a genuine lens would likely teach you what you need to know and at least rule out the obvious differences
