1. Does the Romeo 1.0 get loose at the joints like a flex coupler?

2. What is the size difference between the XX and the Juliet?

Thanks! I'm in the market for a Romeo 1, but I haven't owned one in almost 15 years and can't remember how it felt. I know I don't like the way Juliets fit me, but wonder if the XX is a little bigger to fit my face.

Just gettin into metals myself, but when you say Flex Coupler do you mean the nose bridge area? If so it definitely will get loose without the proper care.

From what I've read, the XX is a cross between the Juliet and Romeo and fits a little bigger than the Juliet. Hope this helps.

The Romeo 1 technically doesn't have a flex coupler which is why it causes lens fractures in the areas around the screws. It's the one major flaw of the R1.0.

The difference between the XX and Juliet is mainly lens coverage. Width-wise the size is about the same but the XX has taller lenses. XX come in hammerstems whereas only the Polished Juliet has hammerstems.
