To me the tanzanite and the red mirror you posted looks closer to oakley +red

I would've definitely had them custom cut! But you can still get lucky with straightlink donors that oakley still sells. @kevonai has been getting pretty lucky with the rubies that he found in vaults. Deeeeep rubies just like this XS that you sold

@nicosauve1 i had a great lookin ruby for R1 that i had larry custom cut for penny because i was able to obtain a deeper lookin ruby for the R1. Check it out. Looks more purple and red in person though. So if you do get good rubys don't sell them. Just have them custom cut if they are donors for your other frames
