These are great pictures. But I think most important one is missed out, which is the inside view.
From my initial experience of having tried the blinders once before (on a Penny), the blinder lips surrounding the frame drastically reduces your field-of-view and it is very much noticeable that there are grey borders surrounding your field-of-vision.
This is just my take on how the user experience is with the blinders installed, it might not be for everyone.
