They use the name "X-Metal" as well as "Juliet", "Penny", "Romeo" as well as others to sell these knockoffs. This & the fact that people have been switching out lenses & playing other games is the reason I have not bought another pair of X-Metals since 2014. I just don't want to go through the pain of going through the fight to retrieve a payment if I bought one of these advertised as genuine X-Metal,,,

If you learn the tell tail signs of fake x-metals you will be fine, the down fall with all the fakes is ebay doesn’t go after them and allows counterfeit items to be sold

A lot of them state what they are made of if you look carefully. I've seen several listings that have a production sheet with the pics that lists them as metal with silicon gel.
