That's the one that got me headed down the X Metal collecting superhighway. I would say road but it would not be an appropriate metaphor.
I think that I was hooked when I had them on top of my head and the elevator operator in a Vegas casino said "nice Oakleys".
I figured an elevator operator in Vegas probably sees tons of sunglasses and knows good ones from bad.
It is a flashy colorway for sure and not for every occasion, but it sure works when you want it to.
Hope you get them and enjoy them this weekend.
I might recommend grabbing a pair of replacement lenses while you still can. It would be a shame to make that investment in a pair, scratch them while meandering along the poopdeck and then not be able to bring them back to 100%- diminishing their value greatly.

So you guys recommend staying with the 24k lenses? I was toying with the idea of throwing a pair of fire lenses in them but don't want to commit an Oakly felony

All,

I have a pair of X Metal XX, 24k/24k 1st Gen (XG002601). Unfortunately, I have to divest myself of this treasure - parenthood and responsibility has sunk its teeth into me and I can no longer justify keeping these. Does anyone have any advice as to how much I should ask for these (mint condition - never worn in public [of course I've put them on in the house once or twice]).
