Again, I now have a peace of mind not having to be so ever careful while putting on my glasses worrying that I will loosen the rubbers. It feels very solid, just like x-man custom's work.

Funny thought is that my X squared feels like a virgin again lol! It looks and definitely feels brand new.

Do you mean "as fast"? Rubber fails over time, just ask Paul Walker.

You should cut those couplers while there in the nosebridge for a perfect fit.

So you're saying literally to slide the coupler into the opening then trim then reattach orbital and secure with screw?

Use the Contour of the nose Bridge as your guide with a sharp razor blade

This would be a recipe for disaster for me. I know for a fact that I would end up scratching the finish. I would leave this suggested procedure to the pros.

Also, won't this end up with the frame going too close to the nose assembly?

No.the length of the orbitals tabs dictate the distance to the nosebridge.

And in doing so excluded themselves from the revenue stream of tune-ups. Nope, they only wanted to do that as long as THEY wanted to do that; create an item that they marketed as lasting literally forever staying in the revenue stream as long as it wished - then stopped supporting it.
