Overall these glasses are in good shape with the exception of the small crack in the right orbital. Finish is good, bridge is tight, rubbers are new.

Includes three-piece box and coin. However the inner sleeve coin holder is missing

Not sure what the frames are worth as a full set but should be able to part them out for same or more??? Just
figured would try as complete before I parted them out.

$250 Shipped CONUS

I've seen a few like that in the same place. It never affected the structure of the frame. I wonder if it was commonplace. As in there were a lot that went unnoticed by HQ quality control. Great pair none the less. GLWYS

thanks for the observation. Will keep that in mind when looking at XSs

This is actually an easy fix.
Take it to a Dentist Lab. with a Laser Welder and Aluminum Oxide Blaster.
Have It welded and blasted with the finest grain Alu. Oxide. they have.
If XS would fit me I would have jumped on it already.

@TheStig would the frame need to be refinished at that point? Since I assume it would remove some of the XM finish in that spot. Or are the dentists tools precise enough that it wouldn’t be noticeable?

@trippledigitss to the best of your knowledge, was a repair already attempted? Or is this how it shipped through factory?

The X-Metal finish is done by blasting the Titanium Frame with Aluminum Oxide.
I have done a couple of Juliet and turned a beat up Plasma into a X-Metal.
The Laser welder has Microscopic Optic an welds very precise on the spot.
After spot welding the crack you just blast it for 2sec. And the it looks good as new.
Bingo.

I've had a couple people tell me it's pretty common. I don't know if they meant X Metals in general or just the x squared
