You can tell it's not a 1st gen just from the orbital finish alone. First gen looks dry, 2nd gen has a clear coat look to it and is slightly darker. Pics for example.

Coincidentally, there is a gen 1 Juliet plasma with fire iridium in the mid left side of the first pic, right next to a 2nd gen Juliet plasma fire Iridium.
