Naw, you got it right - early pairs were given unique serials. It's the late pairs that got marked with generic SKUs and frame sizes. People often see them and think they're some kind of serial, since early ones were serialed...

XX were discontinued in 2006 but they did a re-release of just this colorway in 2009, marked with SKU.

They re-released 24k as well in a sku'd version

04-145 and 04-144 were special OLEO re-releases. If the condition is accurate that is a very reasonable price for those, The small XX coin is one of the rarest and most valuable coins, you don't see them very often.
