Zero 0.3 And 0.3p Differences ?

What's the differences cosmetically and price wise between the Zero 0.3 and 0.3p .

0.3 has a matte lens surround. while the 0.3P has see-through, iridium coated lens surround (just an extension of the lens). its also etched "point three" on the left cheek.price ballparks are 600ish and 800ish NIB respectively on ebay.

there are also generation differences int he 0.3. first gen had full circle orbitals, 2nd gen had larger orbitals that were "cut off" at the nose.

No, actually both go for crazy prices.
Go looking for a 0.3 or 0.2 and you see you will have to sell a kidney... They are one of the most awesome pieces you can get though, so go for it

The 'p' is for polished I believe. As BriP said, the entire lens is of the same finish and has clarity. The original was a matte finish everywhere except the 2 'lens' circles, can't comment on what it looked like from behind tho as I only ever had my hands on a 'p' zero.

So the 0.3 is older I think? And the 0.3p is slightly newer. There's a whole Zero generation guide from O-Review kicking around somewhere that explains logos, stems, finish, colors, etc.

I had a Sub 'n', which was full polished, similar to 'p'
