I tried to think of an amazing post to celebrate this occasion. A new pair or something Oakley related. Maybe a grail item or an item I've chased for a long time. This post is the opposite. It goes out to the friends I've made while on the forum. The trips. The laughs. The memories.
@QLR1 has been my road dog. I came to the forum looking for a bag many years ago. It has turned into so much more for me. A chance lunch with a gentle giant all those years ago and now I've gained a brother. Literally. We celebrate new sunglasses, holidays and trips. This year was different as we navigated the tragic loss of his mom and then aunt. I learned how to be the big brother to the giant. Brought on a whole new level of friendship. I would never have thought we would become instant besties.
I say this in that the forum has become more than my next purchase score. It has become a brotherhood. I wish I could name all the guys that have made an impact on me. I just want to say thanks for the memories and to the O Forum, thanks for my boy Q.
