Yes, they were called "Mumbos" at the time. Funny how the pieces I am looking for pop up at just the time I'm seeking them out.....

I agree with Trump, looking closer at the picture I see some stress cracks already formed in the frame. Something very common with pairs that old.

I had both 1st and 2nd generation frames and they are sadly lost to the dustbin of history. Oh the humanity...
