Batch of fake Juliets on Ebay?

Hello all.

I just saw a whole bunch of Juliets show up on eBay.
They are all 3 day auctions (which is unusual) and they are all starting at $0.99 (which is really unusual.)

Looking at the pictures, they have the rubber gaskets in the frames, and they have serial numbers which appear to check out, but this all strikes me as suspicious.

The descriptions are all the same as well.
"Oakley JULIET X METAL PLASMA serialized rare 16 years old ONLY 3 days"
"if you do not like no auction, real photos, it is sent as is "

Legit guy - I bought a pair off them. It was a pawnshop in Venezuela somewhere.

Pair I got were dirty, needed rubbers, needed tightened, and he said in the description 'they are ok'

His/their standards of 'ok' is a bit low imo

Legit. Comes from Caracas Venezuela. He messed up the customs form on shipping me a pair of juliets last year and refunded half my money without me even asking. Very nice guy, though his english is poor and his descriptions are over-valued.

It comes from the shipping label on the package I recieved from him when it arrived at my residence.

You can set that to anywhere. He has it set to Miami so you'll think it's coming from the US.
