Black Iridium Vs OO Black Iridium

Is it me, or do the OO Black Iridium lenses look like dark brown from the outside, similar to the VR28 Iridium? I'm curious because I've never actually seen them up close and I'm wondering how much of a difference there actually is between the two polarized tints and whether one is necessarily better than the other. I feel like the OO Black isn't actually black, while the regular BIP is.

You're correct, the OO BIP has a rose based tint so it does look brownish from the front. Here's a recent discussion about the same topic:

Thanks, didn't see that thread. I think BIP is the way to go for me given that I don't really drive long distances and would just be wearing them to and from school and around when I go out. I may not even bother with polarized lenses since I've never had a pair of sunglasses with them, and I don't know if I'd even like them.

I never choose polarized if I have a choice, I have a few pair that have polarized lenses and really don't notice that much of a difference to justify the cost premium.
