Blendtec blenders?

i seen them in action in various fruit juice shops (à la Jugo Juice etc...) and look totally kick@$$...

Price is a little steep but its 'american engineered' with a 8year warranty ... Plus they ship to Canada for 15$ ...

Thinking of getting one for the Wife ( her idea ) because she'll be committed to bedrest soon and she can whip up quick meal shakes and smoothies in no time ...

Thoughts? opinions?
