Case Hinge Repair

I have 2 x Oakley cases where the springs have gone and both of them have to be held closed with elastic bands.
Does anyone know if they are repairable?
One is the small round carbon fibre effect effect case (which I can't a replacement for anywhere) and the the other is the small round RX metal torpedo vault which I can find a replacement for but at a price.

I have the same issue with my own metal vault case. This is the case's hinge (with the central pivot rod pushed out). I don't know how it used to snap closed...some kind of spring must have broken and fallen out, I guess, but I never noticed it happening. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to know.
