Custom Crystal (antifreeze?) colored frames?

Thanks for the replies everyone. So then is it an injection of the clear frame or is it a translucent top layer over the clear?

For the OP:

It would either be dyed or painted with a thin transparent color.

The Sutro was painted, all the others I dyed myself. Matte clear takes dye the best, polished is better to paint

Woah! Where did you get a clesr radarlock?

Was it an older OCP one that was silver and you removed the silver?

Chop did that one. Guessing he used a silver one

I know the silvers (and not all of them) have clear base as I got a few ones some time back and stripped them but never got around to send them in to anyone for custom paint.
