Eye jackets with a new life :)

Finally got round to putting new life into a pair of beaten up Eye jackets,
A Very big thankyou to Xmetalmaniac for cutting the lenses for me and the paint job was done by Colorado custom look.
The lenses were cut from big tacos,and the paint is creakote Tungsten with creakote high gloss over the top.
I asked them to get the closest to their original colour.

I dont think it looks anything like the OG color but I think it looks way better.

I have to agree they dont look too much like the original colour,, but im happy

They still look good. If the original color was smoke they would have been really close. Im surprised thats the closest they could get to FMJ.

Its a pity they couldnt re apply the writing on the bridge,, they said it wouldve been too small..

Having seen just about every redial job on a watch spoiled by getting the details of the printing wrong, I don't hold out much hope for reapplying text on glasses either.
