Can you explain this for me?

Most folks refuse to ship to India, and the few who do quote massive shipping charges. Then there's the challenge with USPS - their tracking numbers don't work in India! I used to collect G-Shock watches in the past and have had quite a few lost packages resulting in ebay disputes.

Probably import duties

Duties in itself do hurt - the duty-free limit is just $35 and anything above that is chargeable. Besides, any parcel from US or Japan or UK is sure to be detained, that's what I've experienced. What's worse? The folks at customs are a bunch of scumbags. They'll retain your parcels for weeks, sometimes in a different city altogether. Makes one think tens of times before importing.
