How to Remove Scratches Without Polishing a Watch?

Hello guys ,
I search for couple of past threads,but couldnt find the right solution......how to remove scuffs....scratches from my minute machine watch without actually polishing it?
some scratches are quite deep so i may use sanding paper like 600 up to 1000 to remove the deep stuff but how to proceed next to achieve the plasma look on juliets or brushed look of original minute machine without polishing it?
thanks for any info and apology if it was in some thread in the past that i havent found.

Rub it on the watch? Idk what you're looking for exactly. Just run it back in both in one direction until it looks like new. Don't worry, it won't scratch the crystal.

Here. I just did this. Less than a minute

Go to Walmart and buy the steel wool multi pack. Use the more aggressive wool for the deep scratches and work back up to 000
