I've given myself blisters messing with the darn ear sock rubber before. I find that if you use a little hot water it really softens them up and they slide on much easier!

A spritz of lens cleaner on both the inside of the rubber and the tip of the ear stem. use a towel to grip on the rubber so you can push them on and not hurt your hands and the towel once moistened by the cleaner you can use to clean your glasses too.

A little hand sanitizer works great for both OEM and LG earsocks. Both putting them on and taking them off. No residue.

i have been putting a small bit of dish soap on the end of the ear stem to install linegear or factory rubber. never had any issues getting them on and they don't "dance around" after it dries.

Dishsoap works, but it leaves residue under the sock. Hand sanitizer is gel alcohol and evaporates completely. Unless you get some fancy version with moisturizers...

Purell.........nothing else works better......

Dip the earstem the first 2" in a small bottle of purell,push the rubber on with a rag,because the purell is slippery on your fingers.in 1 miniute the purell will evaporate and the rubber is tight ......
