PROTIP: When using a dremel to polish sunglasses. O-Matter will melt if you stay in one spot.
 
Using a fine sand paper. 2000 grit or above.

edit: scotch brite might be better(and you probably have one already)

media blast it to go from polished to matte for a consistent finish. scotchbrite scratches.
