I duno, I've tried to get half of that, albeit for a single pair, and am met with resistance even from potential buyers looking for them.

Hmmm, unfortunately I fear that I might be partially to blame for the Cinder revolution.
I picked up my Cinder MDs and Oil Drums for great prices, each under £100, and banged on and on and on about them until people eventually agreed they were nice.
Possibly, I thought, just to shut me up.

Personally I think somewhere around $130 for the complete pair would be fair. Less if it's just the frame.

There was a pair on fleebay for a buy now price of $80 a couple of days ago but only US shipping.

Sounds like you may be holding on to those for a while at that price... Are you trying to get $300 for both pair or just one?
