I think it's just age related deterioration of the vinyl, unfortunately. It happened to a tag Heuer case I had that is made of the same material.

@Titan X. You've got some cool stuff. The metal Timebomb cases. Could you take a picture for me of the inside. Are they good inside?

2 of very nice inside. 1 the bottom is very nice but the top I wiped with a dry cloth to remove some lint and it tore in a few places. I have 3 total
