No Serial Number OR Model Number

All,

I got a pair of carbon/BIP Juliets off of CL a few months back. Everything seemed legit, even sent them in to Oakley for a tune up.
They came back great...nice and tight.

Problem is that there is no serial number OR model # on the left earstem (I.E., no 04-149 etched in).

Was there a production run where nothing was etched onto the earstem?

I bought a pair of carbon frames from an Oakley store that don't have anything on the ear stem either.

Those are my favorite of the generations. Serials are nice I guess but I prefer the clean look, esp with carbon cause they used white paint and it stands out.

Juliet 2008 No serial or model numbers on the arms
2008 old [orig.] style box with the old style coin, but with out the pix on the box like before ~ [just bar code and info on the Juliet frame/lens colors] ......


hmm wonder if we can do CUSTOM laser etch on the arms this days ) SN: JP00001

what would be the point? theres no satisfaction of making a fake serial... and you;d just be ruining the real one.
