This month has seen a massive boost to my collection. There's too many pieces to add photos, but here's a brief rundown of what I've acquired...
Gloss Black, Burnt Orange and Team Green Custom Radarlocks with around about 8 lenses (including 2 clear/black photochromic) and Matte Black/White custom Jawbones with rare as hens teeth VR50 Ruby transitions lenses - all off a pro cyclist buddy of mine who's sponsors have changed for the new year. Some of the Radarlock lenses are banged up, but they'll keep me from scratching a clean set of lenses if I'm mowing the lawn.
Then it was some Gloss Black/Jade Style switch, Matte Black/Grey Holbrooks and some Matte Black/Viloet Frogs - Just because they were on sale
Not long after that, I found my local O-Store had a stack of grips to give away with purchases over $250 AUD, so that led to me completing my Tour de France collection with the TdF Half Jacket 2.0's and Fuel Cells to get a set of red grips, some Troy Lee Jupiter Squared's for some purple grips, then some Cipher 2 golf shoes and a few other bits and pieces for a blue pair of grips.
Last week I also visited a Vault which a friend of mine manages, where I picked up some Jupiter Camo Fuel Cells, Dispatch and Holbrooks (which completes that set too), plus both Gloss Black and Gloss White 3D Gascans because they were stupidly cheap, and I like the reflective boxes.
And now for the fun stuff, my eBay trawling this month has netted me a pair of B-1B Jawbones (no box, but does have the micro bag), a pair of Platinum/VR28 Black Iridium Scar, Bronze/Titanium Iridium Plate, Dark Silver/Black Iridium Plate, Plasma Mag M-Frames, and today, some Thump 2's and Split Thumps...
So for the month that is only 20 days old, I've netted 22 pairs of glasses. For the record, I'm not gunning for a pair a day this year or even this month, since if my wife finds out about even half of what I've already picked up I'm a dead man
