I admit I haven’t spent much time looking, but does anyone know a good site to get ear socks for the old turbines with square icons? I still have a few pairs and one needs a little refresh. Any help appreciated!

Even the oval ones are only on eBay. I even tried the Oakley parts department… sold out. Not like the Turbines are discontinued or anything. I wish Linegear would make some rubbers for the stems. Sacrilege I know but the Oakley ear socks just don’t last as long even if they work a bit better. A shaved sweaty head is hell on Oakley rubber.

So I recently got a frame for super cheap that has the original icons and was able to fit the new earsocks in them. The oval icon area fills the rectangular gap, but just doesn’t snap in place, so I added a few drops of tire glue (CA/super glue) on either side and I’ve worn them several times without any issues. So far so good!

I used the clothes pins to keep them tight till it cured.
