I just thought it looked a little like a moon with the small dimples on both sides of the orbital.

Actually, I could be wrong, but I believe it was meant to be a 'nod' to the Mars. Note the 'flanges' protruding from the lower-outer frame(which have no purpose other than aesthetics but are meant to represent where the C-clip goes over), as well as the suggested holes (dimples as my learned friend @Lopaka KaMars had alluded)mimicking the ones on the frame.

Not to mention that frame in FULL TITANIUM. I have a RX set for my everyday and the temptation to fit a second frame with prizm is high

I had an identical pair, which I lost. But bought another pair, since. It's been a while since I've worn them, so you'll have to forgive me, for errors made: I'm beyond 50, after all!!!!

How do these look on someone? Never seen a face picture. I'm tempted do an RX pair myself.
