I should Work at Oakley
We’ve got some mayor artist around here and I want to ask for their advice on some frame painting I’m planning on doing. Here are my main questions:
1. What primer to use on clear frames? Does it require any other prepping apart from cleaning?
2. If I screw up, how can I clean the frames? Do I use paint thinner or am I screwed?
3. Any paint type/brand recommended for painting?
4. Is a clear coat recommended after painting? If yes, which brand do you recommend
5. Final question. What do you use to put icons back on? And for frog frame, do you repaint the oakley logo?
Any extra pointers are gratefully accepted. I’m just trying a new hobbie to give my wife the style of frames she like. So bare with me through my painting journey with screw ups, ugly frames, and hopefully a few cool ones Lol
