Removing Odors

Just got a pair of Oakleys radar locks from a buddy and they smell like a smokers house any way to get the smell out of the case and off the rubber of the nose piece and arms?

Mild Hand soap on the Frames. Boil the rubbers.

I ordered some stuff from the vault and that's how I got them too. Leave the soft vault open to air it out and remove and wash the rubbers with hand soap and it should be good in a few days.

If you boil the rubbers, they will give off a faint odor of either lavender or vanilla. The guys who make the rubbers always complained about the horrible rubber smell from the molding process, so all rubbers are now made with scents, so that when they are heated up, they don't smell so bad.

My new Radarlocks smell too... It's the soft vault.

Must be the foam...
