    Anodizing usually leaves a really glossy finish. And everything else looks dyed. I'd go with paint?

    Wouldn't the pins be purple too, then?

    It looks like they dyed everything purple.

    Either way, $250 if the lenses are good is cheap enough to take a shot. Needs a tune up anyway, so I'm sure X Man could give them some lovin'.

    tough call on the legitimacy of that one...I do see a serial number, but the hinge screws are purple too.....

    Description says the frame color is gray. So they are probably X-Metal XX in bad photos as Batwolf suggested.

    It's just a crappy pic. I sent the seller a question the day they were listed. I asked him if they were purple and if they had a serial #. He said they Charcoal grey with a serial of XT046003A.
