When you've been tracking a parcel and you get excited because it's due today and then you come home to find this.

To be fair it's not even the customs charge that gets me (I get away without getting stung more often than not) it's the £8 Royal mail handling fee on top. I mean wtf gives them the right to put a charge on top of a charge for a parcel that's already been paid for and now I can't get it till tomorrow because the sorting office is closed.

I've had over 200 pairs shipped to me in the last 5 years from around the world/US and never been charged anything once the original payment was made.

Had those more times than I care to remember. At least it's not for much, but I agree on the handling fee, that always gets my goat.

I agree it's a total rip off
I assume it's because they make nothing out of it postage wise so trump up some handling charge for the transfer of the VAT money to the hmrc.
