I went to the Coach store yesterday and my wife was looking at their watches, which weren't that nice. The sales lady was pretty quick to point out their watches are Swiss made by Movado. I wonder who actually makes Oakley's watches. Anybody know??

They are, but who in Switzerland is making them? Is it actually Oakley?

Only the movement needs to be made in Switzerland to have "Swiss Made" on the face, the case and assembly can be done anywhere.

My warrant watch states on the front and the back Swiss made. It also states: Oakley design USA

I'm not positive if they make all the watch movements for Oakley, but I believe the Timebomb and FMJ are made by ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse (ETA SA Swiss Watch Manufacturer), ETA SA - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Same is true for the Coach watches, but apparently the are Movado watches that are only marked as coach and Swiss Made. I'm wondering if it's the same situation for the Oakley watches. Somebody has to be in the know with all the connections out there. Please do t tell me it's Timex!!! lol
