the xx orbitals changed size from one gen to the next so much that a first gen lenses won’t fit a 3rd or 4th gen in some cases

Good information, I didn’t know that
So I believe the taller generations are 40 mm how much shorter is the first generation?

I’m not sure but I did have to shave some down to fit in an older gen pair. Top and side.

Probably 1 mm, maybe 2. Just enough the lenses are just a bit big.
