Same, I never got that bottle. Just spent a day out in the field with the 3.0's and they're covered in sweat, dirt, and grime. I don't have any Oakley cleaning solution yet...but wouldn't at least rinsing it off with water then blotting dry be better than letting that crud "sit"? I'll see about...
Hey guys, just got a pair of M Frame 3.0's in and noticed that on the care sheet, it states in all caps "DO NOT USE WATER TO CLEAN YOUR LENS AS IT WILL HAVE AN ADVERSE AFFECT ON THE ANTI-FOG PERFORMANCE". Seeing how everything else on the care page is in lower case letters, this seems to be...
I do like the Ten, but it just isn't getting much wear time now that I have my Radars. I'm not a big collector; just keeping the things that I need the most and hoping this will go to a good home and get used like it should.
Lightly used pair of Oakley Ten. Matte Black with Warm Grey lens. Those light grey marks on top of the orbitals is just dust. COMES WITH BOX ONLY. DOES NOT COME WITH A MICROFIBER BAG. $65 shipped Priority Mail CONUS. Paypal only, please.
Ah, I thought OP meant that the entire M-Frame lineup was going away (perhaps letting ESS monopolize in that area of protective eyewear). It definitely does make sense now, as it's kind of redundant now that they have the 2.0 and 3.0 available. And nope, the M-Frame wasn't APEL approved.
I wonder if Oakley will keep the M-Frames available on USSI...they're definitely popular with the Mil/LE crowd and I guess with Iraq/Afghanistan winding down, there aren't too many orders rolling in for eye pro.
For those "on the job" that may include flying hazards, I would go with the Ballistic M-Frames for maximum protection, as only those hold the MIL-PRF rating. Check out this thread. http://www.oakleyforum.com/off-topic/11223-interesting-article-about-eye-protection-especially-shooters.html
These are USED black SI Oakley Half Jacket XLJs with Grey lens. I'm rocking my Radars at work and don't really have a need for these anymore. In good condition as shown in the pictures. Comes with box and documents, but no bag. $70 shipped USPS Priority CONUS. Paypal only, please...
Thanks for the follow-up! Interesting how they used hand soap...those cool little vials they dipped those glasses into would have you to believe they were some rare Koala bear's snot or something. At least with hand sanitizer, the stuff dries pretty quickly...but hand soap? Guess it never...
