those metallic black ones look kinda less 'outerspacey' to me, in person are they more acceptable of a wear? I had the reds and felt like a character of some sort.

The metallic will catch a glitter tone out in the sunlight but be darker inside... That one changes more dramatically than the others. Black chrome would stay more neutral than the other 3 left I would think.
