I am looking to purchase my first watch. Which would be a better starter a Crankcase Chronograph or a Bottle Cap. All things equal, condition, price, etc.

Might come down to personal preference. I think the Bottle cap is a larger watch than the crankcase, so may depend on your wrist size?

My crankcase has a metal band while the bottle cap has a rubber looking band.

The crankcase is more dressy and the bottle cap is a little more of a casual look.

My advice would be to purchase both....

Well my first is currently in transit a 6 hand Stealth Holeshot that needs a little TLC on the bezel but in good working condition.
