2015 NBA Playoffs and Finals Thread

no reason acceptable if the player declared himself as "the best player in the world"... yeah... best player playing one on one.... but again it means nothing if you loss...
best player in the world means you're the best player in the world...

James has had that title for the last decade.....

doesn't mean he's expected to win every single game for the rest of his life.....

well as far as i know if you say "best" then it means winning too... lol! why call yourself "best" when you end up losing? ... no need to argue bro... james is a great basketball player, but great players dont need to brag.... and his fans dont need to say "he is the best" even when he is losing. the series aint over yet... so for now i will just enjoy the games... as the old NBA saying goes..."I LOVE THIS GAME!"

only if you're a golfer or a tennis player.....

all other sports played in America require a supporting cast....

remember, Jordan couldn't win without Pippen...

Jordan didn't win ANYTHING with the Wizards and he was still a decent player, mainly because the Wizards were a tire fire of an organization...

I agree, its about winning!

How are you measured for being all time great is,

How are you pitted against the best of your era in terms of
championship earned(just one criteria, i could write more but i hate reading long story)

LBJ - 2
Duncan - 5
Kobe - 5

Physical attributes is not enough. This also the reason why MJ is the best of all time. No comparison especially to Lebron. Mj has two Grand slam in his career. The second Grand slam coming from retirement. So imagining the possibilities of earning another championship missed in the 94-95 season won by the Rockets.

Lebron might break all the record, but record made to be broken. Its not a criteria to being the best in this era alone, nor the best of all time. Its like Horry winning the record for most championship rings(13), but that doesnt make him an all time great, possibly a hall of famer.

One thing this LBj dickrider must learned is that LBj career is not yet done, how he will fared against the best in this era now during his prime(which is now) and past prime(3 yrs up from now) will determined his ranks. This is important to sports pundits and historian. Its a little bit premature to claim greatness when a little guy from SF shines more than this Leflop.

I just cant fathom even ignoring the ability of the previous era and being disrespectful. Curry is just a little copycat of Pete Maravich and Lebron cannot win against this guy. Duh!

Some are too fanatic it clouds their minds. I know some is a fan of the guy, but im a fan of the game, that makes my opinion different. Keep riding the LBj bandwagon!

oh... again... JORDAN NEVER LOST A FINALS SERIES BRO!! we are just talking about the finals.... and you mentioned about supporting cast? but a few posts back you said this...

"Effing Bron...

Only the greatest player on the planet can go into GS with his allstar running mate out and win IN Oakland...

39/16/11 - greatest complete basketball player ever created."

say that when he wins the series... but dont say he is the greatest coz he aint! oh.. just to remind you... i did post a question for you a few post back and you still didnt answer it... Now tell me the best roster that lebron had and he still lost a championship... and you said he is the greatest player in this decade? hell... i remembered him scoring 8 points in a finals game... you call that greatest? HAHAHAHA....

ill enjoy the game!

and um.... "No one should wear number 23 as respect to Michael Jordan..."... and then... went back to CLE and wore 23... haahaha

Actually I disagree with what you are saying. I think it is a clear sign of respect these guys in today's NBA wearing number 23. These kids grew up watching Jordan and wanted to be like Mike.

Now maybe in Chicago they should retire his number. Not sure if they did it yet or not??

I would not want to wear #23 in a Bulls uniform if I was a player today.

This debate can go on forever. Look @Litos LOVES James. That is Clear. Your a Fan I get it, all good!! The guys body of work is not finished. He will be one of the greats of all time he is already on his way.
Just trashing other players and eras is a little Silly!!

Trust me I live in LA and I have Kobe Nuthuggers all around. Now that guy handcuffs his team for a payday!!

Times are different on the NBA landscape and guys are now willing to go to cold Cleveland to play. Only because King James is there. No other player in the NBA would be able to get other superstars to come there only him!!

Golden State will win their Ring this year and James will get his 3rd in the near future.
