It's crazy to think the Wiz still have a better record than the Lakers. But besides Malik Monk no one else can consistently score. Or play Defense.

Headed to SLC today. So I caught most of the game. They always win when I'm not watching so I turned it off before it ended. And said my prayers to the LA gods.

Thank Frank Vogel: lakers up 93 - 89 when he took out Russ and put in Monk. Monk, who really didn't do much during the game, hit back-to-back jacks & put the game out of reach. Russ never came back in.

I don't know why the Wiz waited until ~4mins left to put Porzingis back in, but anyway....

Seriously why is RW so anemic lately. He's so up and down. I think 2 things. 1) he still isn't comfortable "running the offense". I mean he's never really been a true point, but then again he averaged well over 10 dimes a game in the recent past.

I think he's lost a lot athletically, and I get it I'm 38 and I've felt the years adding up fast in recent months lol.

He gets blocked at the rim, rim checked, etc. But RUSS: dancing around in circles looking for an assist and am ugly bank shot won't do it. Run run run, look for others to fill the lane. They'll follow you up, and put back that miss lol.

Well at least the Lakers beat the team they sold their farm to!

I agree with what you've said. He does need to have other around him running with him, and that's hard for the older guys to do.

He really is up and down: that game against Houston he had 30, but had a critical turnover and missed layup in OT when the game was still close.

That was a rough go yesterday against the Suns yesterday. Let's see if they can bounce back against a gritty raptors team
