This is sort of a feeler. I can keep this pair, and no harm, no foul, but I barely wear this pair bc I don't want to screw it up, so I'm trying to see what I can pull back out of it which will dictate if I sell it or not.
After trying to utilize pictures and words to show these, I decided to just make a video.
Lo-fi, shot sitting at a coworkers desk, not my best video work. But hey, it does the pair and it's accoutrement more justice than my crappy pics did.
Up for grabs is a X Squared Polished Carbon with box, coin, vault with a broken zipper, and a Ducati microfiber bag. The red temple shocks are OEM from a Juliet. The OEM earsocks and nose bombs appear to be in the baggie and have been used previously as in they are not pristine and have been worn. The red earsocks are linegear. temple shocks are Red OEM from a Juliet. I do have the original black rubber I received with these.
Ultimately, I always wanted this frame with Ruby Polar and red rubber. So Veni Vidi Vicci. I rarely wear these, though, so I'm gonna catch and release.
When I picked these up, they were stated to be LNIB, but the box is less than perfect as is the zippered case with a broken zipper that catches the case itself. These are in decent shape I'd say. No major damage to the finish as far as I can tell/see, although there is a dull spot on the frame. Looks like a manufacturing imperfection, not wear, but hey, I'm that honest abe mofo.
The nose bridge feels loose-ish to me. So I picked up the black harder Linegear rubber for tuning. I just never wear these, so I've never gotten around to installing/tuning these.
I have had 3 lense kits cut for this by RJ.. (Ruby Polar from SL 8.75, Violet Polar from SL 8.75, Prizm Snow Torch 7.25 from Turbine) and a fresh, unopened Linegear XS Violet Rubber set along with blue XS orbital gaskets (hated the blue IRL) and aforementioned black 90 LG flex coupler/bridge rubber.
The original BIP lenses from the frame have slight delam and are scratched up. I'd rate at 5/10 or so. They were wearable for me.
The Ruby Polar and Violet Polar are probably safe to rate at 8/10. Maybe faint scratches, but clean as far as my current RX allows me to see.
The Prizm Snow Torch saw the most use, so I'd call them 7/10. All of these lenses need a good clean. All of my microfibers are heavily used, so I'd rather ship out a little smudgy than scratch with a beat MF cloth.
I honestly feel like$750 OBO $675 shipped Con US only PayPal G+S is a good deal for all of this. If you have any questions , need more pictures (the limit is kind of low imho) shoot me a message or post here. I'm not in a rush on these, but if someone picks these up, I ship ASAP.
