Anyone else ever used Aluma-Hyde on a pair? I coated a pair of Gascans for my son, and one of my Batwolfs in their FDE... Turned out pretty good, and it seems like it should be pretty dang hardy.

@UcanTry , all i did since i was using matte frames was doo a little bit of sanding to roughen up the frames so they'll take the paint, and they took quite nicely if I say so myself... My 9 year old son doesn't exactly take care of his glasses as you know kids don't, but the coating is still on there perfectly as the day I sprayed em.

Those came out nice, looks kind of like a polished FDE finish.

I haven’t read of someone using that specific mixture before, came out cool.

The key is to make sure you keep the parts furthest away from the heating elements in your oven though... You don't want them right next to it and get too hot and melt. I have a gas oven and hung them from the top right in the middle.
