Polarizing shoe for polarizing player. I'm impressed and uncertain of what he does at the same time. The aesthetic of this shoe is everywhere, but it actually all comes together for performance purposes. The navy toe piece, weaved belt at the midfoot, and the shroud are not completely fixed to the base upper so there some dynamic support in play. Lacing is reinforced and the tongue is traditional. Cushion is supposed to be the unlocked/Flight Plate setup, which attributes to the individual influence Westbrook has on this shoe. I do like that because it does lend to more authentic design language. I have the Jordan 30.5, which was a similar story — Westbrook legit didn't like the 31's platform so he had Jordan make him a hybrid using the previous 30.

As weird as the shoe looks, the build is actually very traditional/simple. It's easy to get along with compared to a lot of current shoes doing the bootie setup and weird lacing. Hard to imagine what this can do wrong. It's just not a specialty shoe — like not minimal/lightweight profile per Kobe/Curry designs, or super cushioned like a LeBron. Just a solid all-rounder. I mean I think I'm still going to find I like the Kyrie 5 more than this, but this is easier for more people to get along with. Price is so right at $125.

Other than that they are Ugly I'm ready to try a pair. Looks ready to ball!!!!

I prefer the look of the newest Kobe Ad Exodus, and New PG3... But this could easily be right up there. I'm really excited for the PG3, so many of my buddies loved the PG2 (that I never bought for some reason--- broke ass). lol.
